The “ME!” songstress, who is set to open the awards show with Panic! At the Disco’s Brendon Urie, shared an adorable snap with the legend on Instagram before walking the red carpet.
“I’m trying to give them a normal upbringing but when the little ones and I ran into the flawless @paulaabdul on the way to red carpet we STRAIGHT UP had to get a pic,” Swift captioned the snap, in which she holds cat Olivia while Abdul can be seen holding Swift’s newest addition to the family, a kitten named Benjamin Button.
Abdul is set to perform a medley of her biggest record-breaking hits as the show’s annual throwback moment.
Swift introduced baby Benjamin Button to the world during the premiere of her record-breaking new music video “ME!” In the video, Urie proposes to Swift only for her to reject a ring box in favor of the adorable cat. She’s since shared a bevy of IG posts letting fans in on a glimpse of life with Benjamin and also revealed she got the cat while on set.
“Can I have him?” the Grammy-winning artist asked a crew member after some bonding during a behind-the-scenes clip the singer has since shared.
“He is available,” the crew member replied.
“You’re gonna have two sisters,” Swift then said at the end of the BTS clip. “They’re going to be really, really nice to you. Maybe not at first, but that’s just because they’re jealous.”
Tune into the 2019 BBMAs, hosted by Kelly Clarkson, at 8 p.m. EST/PST on NBC!
