You Need To Update These Apple Devices ASAP Due To Security Concerns

According to KTLA 5, Apple has discovered a high security risk for iPhones, iPads and Macs where the software flaw could possibly let hackers take complete control of the Apple device.

Apple’s explanation of the vulnerabilities means a hacker could get “full admin access to the device” so that they can “execute any code as if they are you, the user,” said Rachel Tobac, CEO of SocialProof Security.

Once Apple found out about the issue, they posted a security update yesterday for iOS 15.6.1, iPadOS 15.6.1, and macOS (Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina) to help prevent any of the "maliciously crafted web content" that could happen on Safari.

Apple customers who have the devices below need to update their devices ASAP:

• iPhone 6s and later models
• iPad (5th generation and later)
• iPad Pro
• iPad Air 2
• Macs that have MacOS Monterey
