School season has arrived and starting college can be challenging for some students, especially those who are former foster kids as they transition to college.
The nonprofit organization, Ready to Succeed, has started a Los Angeles based project called Project Dorm Room, where former foster youth students are able to receive items such as sheets, shower caddies, comforters, extension cords and more.
