While I don't think it's right in this case, I can understand what the company is trying to do. For instance, in cities that have one, an Urgent Care (they are popping up all over the place) may be a better alternative. Again, even though not in this particular case, too many people are using the ER for symptoms that don't require an expensive ER visit, not to mention it causes people that DO need Emergency services to have to wait longer than they might have had to.
