TikTok user Lauren, @lobro15, posted that she was demoted from Maid of Honor of her best friends wedding. In the video, which has been viewed over 4.2 million times, she explained that she had expressed concerns over the price of the bachelorette party which would cost $1,000 per person.
Lauren checked in with the other guests who agreed that they' die more comfortable spending $300-$500. She discussed with the bride that her destination may be out of budget for herself and the other guests to which the bride responded "If people were her friends, they would be willing to spend this amount of money to spend time with her." The two then argued about the Bach party, which ended in the bride asking her if she wanted to step down as the maid of honor. The bride then uninvited her from the wedding, blocked her number, and blocked her on social media. The bride even subtweeted Lauren - a mutual friend sent Lauren a screenshot from the bride's social media that showed the bride standing between large black balloons that said "1K" with the caption "Thankful for my friends who spent 1k+ to be at my Bach".
