How Much Money You Need To Be Scientifically Happy

Who says money can't buy happiness? According to a recent study conducted by researchers at Purdue University there is in fact a specific number of money that is proven to increase your happiness.

Over 1.7 million people were surveyed from over 160 countries evaluating their emotional well-being, day-to-day feelings, and overall life satisfaction.

Researchers found that people in North America who make an income of $95,000 or more were more satisfied with their life. But, if you make between $65,000 - $70,000 you have the highest emotional well-being compared to other financial ranges.

On the flip side, the study also found that individuals who made above a certain amount tend to have lower levels of happiness and life satisfaction overall. The study revealed that people who have more money than they know what to do with causes them to stress and anxiety to uphold a certain economic standard as well as staying high on the "social ladder."
