Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson are reportedly "living separate lives" amid their rumored split.
A source recently told Entertainment Tonight that the couple, who have been married for 10 years and share three kids together, have been doing things apart from each other. Simpson and Johnson tied the knot in 2014, four years after first meeting, per People. They share three kids together: Maxwell "Maxi" Drew, 12, Ace Knute, 11, and Birdie Mae, 5.
"Jessica and Eric have been living separate lives and doing things on their own," the source said.
The source said Simpson and Johnson are just "different people," adding, "Jessica is motivated and Eric isn't. They have different goals."
Simpson first sparked rumors of a rift with her husband of a decade last week when she shared a post about new music on Instagram with a caption about her "singular magic," adding, "This comeback is personal, it's an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve." Both Simpson and Johnson have also recently been spotted without their wedding rings, adding even more fuel to the fire.
Speculation about the state of their marriage even led to The Dukes of Hazzard star's sister, Ashlee Simpson, weighing in on the drama while out with her own husband, Evan Ross.
