As Gossip Cop has reported, “Good Morning America” hosts weekly concerts every Friday during the summer months. The outdoor shows typically take place at Rusmey Playfield in Central Park, as part of the annual SummerStage festival. Usually, one artist is in the spotlight and they may bring along a guest. But today the morning show treated fans to a trio of big stars.

Technically, it was Zedd’s concert, and it was his collaborators who joined the festivities. He and Payne first took the stage to perform their new song “Get Low.” The track was released earlier this month as a digital download, and isn’t attached to any album as of yet. Zedd said about the song in the interview, “Without Liam, I might’ve never finished this song. He really pulled it towards a direction that I would not have, and I love where it is.”

For Payne, “Get Low” marks the second single of his solo career while One Direction is on hiatus. It follows his debut solo single, “Strip That Down,” which was released in May. It’s likely both will appear on the British singer’s eventual solo album. As for Cara, she teamed up with Zedd this morning to perform their collaboration “Stay.”

Released in February, the song has peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. But it went all the way to number one on the Mainstream Top 40 and Hot Dance/Electronic Songs charts. Lastly, Zedd treated the crowd to his song “Adrenaline,” which was surely pumping through all the attendees on this summer day. Not a bad way to kick up the weekend.

Future participants in the “GMA” Summer Concert Series will include Imagine Dragons, Eric Curch and Jason Derulo. At this point, though, it is unclear if Linkin Park’s August 4 show will go on as scheduled in the wake of lead singer Chester Bennington’s suicide.
